The Engineering Windows 7 Blog has outlined some of the changes in Windows 7 Release Candidate. Here is the list, check out their blog for more information. Looks like there are some direct changes from what Beta testers have been requesting.

This article links back to the Windows 7 Engineering Blog which I wrote about a couple of days back, you can find that post here if you missed it.

I decided to post a link to this story from the Technet Australia Blog because they have put together a great bullet point list of the changes that have been made in Windows 7 Release Candidate which makes it easier for everyone to understand the improvements that the Windows 7 team have added.

I also love how they added “Looks like there are some direct changes from what Beta testers have been requesting”. Can somebody please tell Microsoft that we believe them when they say they are listening to the beta testers feedback.

As expected has posted a reply to Ed Bott’s post from earlier today.

I posted an article earlier that can be found here where I spoke about Ed’s article and how he made a number of references to Paul’s post on Windows 7 and this issue of feedback from beta testers.

Paul does not waste anytime in stripping Ed’s post down and justifying what he wrote and I encourage you to read it with an open mind, I really enjoy Paul’s posts and his podcast and I still think he makes some viable points about this whole process of testing and providing feedback.

As both Ed and Paul say at the end of there respective posts, they will be sitting together on Thursday at a closed HP session, I would love to be a fly on the wall for that.
